Privacy policy

Little Orbit is made by Brightlane Digital. It is built for children, so we collect as little as possible and nothing for advertising.
What we store on our servers
- A grown-up's email address — to sign in, send sign-in codes, link your purchase and answer support requests.
- A device identifier that Android provides to Little Orbit (Android ID) — to link the free trial and your purchase to your tablet.
- Trial play time — the number of minutes the free trial has been used on that tablet.
- Purchase status — whether you have bought Little Orbit, when, and the Stripe payment reference.
What stays on the tablet
Your child's name, age and avatar, your PIN, settings, stars, drawings and the daily activity log are stored only on the tablet. We never receive them.
Children
Little Orbit does not ask children for personal information. A grown-up signs in. There are no ads, no analytics or tracking tools, no chat and no way for children to contact strangers.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the checkout.
Service providers
- Netlify hosts this website and stores the account data above.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Google delivers sign-in emails (Gmail) and serves the fonts used in the app (Google Fonts).
Approved websites
Websites opened from Little Orbit (for example Starfall or PBS KIDS) are run by other organisations and have their own privacy policies.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your data while your account is in use. To delete your account, contact us from the email you signed in with. We delete your email and trial data; we keep the purchase record only as long as tax law requires.
